The Flagbearer of the NDC, Mr John Dramani Mahama, has assured residents of the Oti Region of massive development if voted into power in the upcoming December 7 polls.

The Flagbearer of the party, addressing a gathering in the Krachi West constituency as part of his campaign tour, said the Region needed more infrastructural projects to be at par with other regions.

He alleged the NPP government failed to develop the region after its creation to an appreciable level and promised to do more when voted for.

He, however, highlighted some four key projects he intended to bequeath to the region, when given the nod, to include a Regional Hospital to improve proper healthcare delivery system, University to enhance Tertiary education, Sports stadium to promote sporting activities and Police training school to beef up security in the region.

Mr Mahama has also promised to restructure the landing beach committees and provide premix fuel directly to the fisher folks to avoid bureaucratic bottlenecks.

He called on the people of Krachi West constituency and Oti region as a whole to vote for NDC massively on December 7, for development and a better standard of living.
