Mr Francis Owusu Antwi, the Bono East Regional Minister, at the weekend, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the people and pledged to bring development to the next level.
During a courtesy call on some of the chiefs in the region, the regional minister said he was very grateful to the traditional authorities and the whole people of the region for their support, which empowered him to go through the vetting process successfully.
Mr Antwi interacted with the Amantin Traditional Council and assured the chiefs of his readiness to actively engage them in decision making processes.
Osaberima Appau Bonsie Bonsu II, the Paramount Chief of Amantin, promised to rally behind the Regional Minister, saying “you are ours and we will support you both physically and spiritually.”
At the Atebubu Traditional Council, Ohempon Dr Yeboah Asiamah, the Paramount Chief of Atebubu, said he had confidence in the regional minister and asked him to work hard and justify the confidence President John Dramani Mahama had reposed in him.
“I know you and am truly convinced that you will serve the good people of the region in humility and diligence,” he stated.
The Regional Minister was accompanied by the Bono East Regional Executives of NDC, Atebubu Amantin Constituency Executives and NDC supporters and members.
