Leadership Update: Alex Adu Quist Takes the Helm as Juaboso’s New District Chief Executive

Assembly members in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region have given a 100 per cent confirmation to Mr Alex Adu Quist, the President Nominee for the Chief Executive position. 
All the 23 members made up of 16 elected, and seven appointees voted in his favour to make him the Juaboso District Chief Executive (DCE).  
Mr Quist in his acceptance speech, thanked the President for nominating him for this enviable position and expressed gratitude to the Assembly members for the overwhelming endorsement. 
The new DCE pledged to prioritize sanitation and adoption of stringent measures to improve the mobilisation of Internally Generated Funds for accelerated development. 
He pledged to make accountability a priority in his administration, saying he would hold town hall meetings regularly in all the communities to motivate residents to honour their tax obligations. 
Mr Wilbert Petty Brentum, the Western North Regional Minister, encouraged the DCE to avoid partisanship in the discharge of his duties to ensure a fair share of development projects across the district.
