Frank Annoh Dompreh, a Member of Parliament from Nsawam Adoagyiri, has announced that the Government has launched the Cocoa Farmers’ Pension Scheme in honor of Farmers Day on Friday, December 3.

This, he believes, is a commendable endeavor that would ensure pension income for almost 1.5 million farmers.

In a tweet, the Majority Chief Whip stated that the state should begin looking into a larger Pension program for our farmers, starting with basics and progressing to non-traditional exports.
