We will help you succeed – COA FS is assured by Trade Minister

The Minister of Trade, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng, has backed the makers of the herbal mixture, COA FS, in their efforts to innovate and introduce the most potent herbal mixture in Ghana.

According to the Minister, plant medicine is one of many products that have the potential to generate more than $50 billion by 2050.

He stated that the government is ready to help pharmaceutical companies succeed and create jobs in the industry.

As a result, he wants the COA Research and Manufacturing Company to develop standards by exporting more products in order to reduce Ghana’s import bills.

The Minister stated this when he relaunched the COA mixture in Accra on Wednesday.

The CEO and Founder of COA Research and Manufacturing Company , Prof. Samuel Ato Duncan said the product said the product is 100 percent natural and immune booster.

In the heat of the corona virus pandemic in 2020, the Food and Drugs Authority caused the company to recall the COA mixture on grounds of contamination.

The life Patron of the company , Otumfour Osei Tutu who threw his weight behind the product said it is a healing plant that would help many Ghanaians.

Deputy Health Minister , Alhaji Mahama Asei Seini and the Ghana Medical Association led by its General Secretary, Dr. Titus Beyuo all threw their weight behind the product because it has proven to save many lives in Ghana.

The Company donated an amount of GHC 100,000 cedis to the Ghana Traditional Herbal Manufacturers Association to advance research into plant medicines.
