In an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Tema, Nat Abbey explained that “Hanukkah” draws inspiration from the Jewish Festival of Lights, commemorating the triumphant story of the Jewish Maccabees against the Greek army and the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. The song symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and freedom over oppression, serving as a source of motivation and upliftment, reminding listeners of the importance of hope and faith in Christ.
