Agona Swedru (C/R), May 01, GNA-Hundreds of supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) poured onto the principal streets of Agona Swedru to join the first ever victory float organised by Mr Chris Jojo Arhin Arthur, the Parliamentary Candidate (PC) of the party.

The reason for the victory float was to revive and rekindle spirit of the teeming supporters and sympathisers in and around Swedru and beyond to rally behind the party to clinch resounding victory on December 7, 2024.

The well patronised float saw motor riders displayed skills to attract public attention while supporters also danced to Gonda Dance and brass band music from 1600hours to 1700hours.

Addressing the teeming supporters, Mr Arthur said the float first to be organised after the primary, was to unite the party for them to adequately prepare to meet the task ahead.

He said the Agona West NPP was being revived and resuscitated to move on to win more supporters to send clear signal to the NDC that NPP was still a no-go area as far as the December 7 elections was concerned.

Mr Arthur said the teeming supporters who poured onto the street had sent strong signal to the NDC that the Agona West NPP was formidable and united to work extra harder to protect and defend the Parliamentary seat.

He said the people in Agona West had the strong belief and were also in support of the government under Akufo Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

The PC urged the people sitting on the fence to have trust and confidence in the NPP government and vote massively to renew the party’s mandate again to continue the good policies and programmes to enhance development.

Mr Arthur assured supporters that everything which went wrong during and after the primary would be corrected to enable them work as a team to retain the seat and gain massive win for Dr Bawumia.
