Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, has expressed gratitude to President-elect John Dramani Mahama for appointing him Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).

In a statement, Mr Ablakwa said: “I accept to chair this ORAL.

I humbly accept to chair this ORAL Team with a profound sense of duty, integrity and patriotism”.

“We are grateful to President-elect H.E. John Mahama for the confidence reposed in us.”

Other members of the ORAL Team include Mr Daniel Domelevo, a former Auditor-General, Commissioner of Police (COP) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye (rtd), Mr Martin Kpebu, a Private Legal Practitioner and Mr Raymond Archer, an Investigative Journalist.

Anti-corruption, with ORAL as a major plank, formed a core part of President-elect Mahama’s policy platform in the 2024 campaign and he intends to hit the ground running on these commitments.
