Head Coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, has announced his 23-man squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
Speaking at a press briefing in Accra on Thursday, August 29, 2024, Coach Addo unveiled the team that will take on Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on September 5th, followed by a match against Niger at Stade Municipal de Berkane on September 9, 2024.
The selection includes a mix of seasoned players and promising talents, aimed at securing Ghana’s spot in AFCON 2025.
The squad sees the return of notable players such as Majeed Ashimeru, Inaki Williams and Joseph Paintsil, who are expected to bring their experience and prowess to the field.
