Afenyo-Markin chairs ECG Board

Member of Parliament (MP), for Effutu constituency in the Central Region who doubles as the majority leader and head of government business in Parliament, Mr. Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, has been appointed by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as the new board chairman for the National electricity distribution company, Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

By this appointment, the Majority Leader and MP for Effutu replace Herbert Krapa, who is now the Minister of State at the Energy Ministry. 

Mr Krapa replaced Mr. Keli Gadzekpo, who resigned on March 26, 2024.

This was contained in a letter signed by the President’s Secretary Ambassador Nana Asante Bediatuo.
