Amenfi Central NDC Parliamentary Aspirant donates to women organisers

Mrs Joana Cudjoe Gyan, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Amenfi Central, in the Western Region, has presented a cash of GH¢20,000 to each NDC women organiser in the 17 constituencies in the Western Region.

The cash donation was to support their campaign activities to ensure victory for the party in the December 7 general elections.

 In an interview with the media, Mrs Gyan said she recognised the crucial role women played in the party’s organisation, especially during elections, hence, the need to equip them to enable them work diligently.

She extended same gesture to the Western Regional NDC Women Organiser by presenting an amount of GH¢100,000 to her, and GH¢30,000 each to her two deputies.

She explained that the donation was to empower the women organisers to mobilise more women for the party in the upcoming general elections.

Mrs Gyan emphasised the importance of unity and called on all party supporters to put aside their individual differences and work towards a common goal.

She urged everyone to join the campaign to ensure victory for Former President John Dramani Mahama and all the 17 NDC parliamentary candidates in the Western Region.

Madam Gladys Egyir, the Western Regional NDC Women Organiser, thanked the PC and promised to do the work as was expected from her and other executives.

She said: “This generous donation has demonstrated Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s commitment to supporting women in politics and ensuring the NDC’s success in the upcoming elections.”
