Association of Oil Marketing Companies Gears Up for PETFUN 2023

The much-anticipated Petroleum Fun Games (PETFUN 2023) of the Association of Oil Marketing Companies (AOMCs) is set to take place on August 26 at the Armed Forces Sports Complex, Burma Camp. Mr. Kwaku Agyemang-Duah, AOMCs Chief Executive Officer, announced that the event will feature various disciplines, fostering networking opportunities among Oil Marketing Companies.

Annual Petroleum Fun Games Foster Industry Networking

PETFUN 2023 aims to provide a social platform for Oil Marketing Companies to build bridges and establish stronger networks with stakeholders across the board. The event brings together about 154 OMCs and 42 LPGMCs, offering them the chance to participate in disciplines such as football, tug of war, sack race, swimming, and more. It presents a unique opportunity for OMCs to develop relationships, unwind, and alleviate stress in a friendly and competitive environment.

Exciting Disciplines and Special Events Await Participants

Participants in PETFUN 2023 can look forward to a wide range of disciplines, including field events, draughts games, table tennis events, and spoon and lime races. In addition to the regular events, special activities like penalty kicks, spoon races, and lime races for OMC Chief Executive Officers will add to the excitement of the games.

AOMC: Advocating for Downstream Sector Development in Ghana

The Association of Oil Marketing Companies is an industry association and a private initiative by oil marketing operators in Ghana. It serves as an advocacy institution, directing downstream policy, legislation, and regulation, and conducting research to foster the development of the sector. Representing the collective interests of companies involved in oil marketing and petroleum products in Ghana, AOMC collaborates with key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Finance, and various regulatory bodies, to ensure a robust and well-coordinated industry.
