The Black Stars of Ghana will hold their first training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 2, 2024, ahead of the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) opener against Angola.

Black Stars gaffer Otto Addo yesterday named a strong 23-man squad for the double header against Angola and Niger as they quest to qualify for next year’s AFCON to be staged in Morocco.

Players who gained call ups are expected to start arriving on Saturday, August 31, 2024, and a full house is expected to start camp next Monday.

The team will travel to Kumasi on Tuesday to continue preparations for the crucial encounter against Angola, which comes off on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

The Black Stars of Ghana will be seeking a good start against the Antelopes of Angola as they set to face other group opponents Niger and Sudan in quest of their 25th appearance at the AFCON.
