Ghanaian Amapiano sensation DJ Azonto has announced that he will henceforth go by the stage name “Ice Boss”.

According to the “Fa No Fom” hitmaker, the decision to change his stage  was made at the popular request of both his devoted fans and his management, the Rolls Royce Family.

“I’ve been contemplating this name change for a very long time, and I have decided to go with ‘Ice Boss’ because I am the ‘king’ of sparkling jewellery in Ghana.

“So my team and I sat down and have finally agreed to change the name, and I hope my fans would address me as the ‘Ice Boss’ henceforth,” he said in an interview.

The award-winning musician also assured music lovers of some fascinating music projects under his new stage name and hinted at a collaboration with one of Ghana’s top rappers.

DJ Azonto won several awards with the ‘Fa No Fom’ hit single and was nominated for the Best New Artiste of the Year at the 2023 Ghana Music Awards.
