Ghanaian Filmmaker Samuel Whyte Launches Road Safety Campaign for Safer Communities

Renowned Ghanaian filmmaker Samuel Whyte is set to make a significant impact on road safety with the launch of the “Samuel Whyte Foundation” on Tuesday, August 12, 2023, at the Neoplan Station in Accra. The foundation’s mission is to spearhead road safety initiatives, including educational programs, infrastructural enhancement, community outreach events, and more, with a primary focus on changing road user behavior for a safer environment.

Samuel Whyte emphasized the foundation’s commitment to creating a positive change in road user behavior to enhance the safety of communities and reduce the economic and emotional burden associated with road accidents. The core values and strategies of the foundation encompass safety on the roads, public advocacy and education, innovation, and collaborations and partnerships with local authorities and government agencies to implement stricter road safety regulations and policies.
