Ghanaian Afro-dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has challenged Stonebwoy to a contest to showcase their respective music prowess.

The long-standing feud between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy ignited once following an article on the Grammy website that excluded the latter as one of the Highlife stalwarts.

But Shatta Wale, in a Facebook post, says his contributions to the music industry should be acknowledged by all, as he has brought excitement to the game.

He wrote, “You should acknowledge my contributions to the entertainment industry, which bring excitement and enthusiasm.

Refrain from harbouring resentment and bitterness, as they can hinder financial success.

My cognitive abilities surpass the vastness of Mississippi”.

He added: “I hold the key to success in this game, having implemented the strategy to perfection on multiple occasions.

Fear is absent from my dictionary, replaced by courage, a quality instilled in me through life’s lessons and guidance.

Be cautious, for misjudging my statements can result in unexpected consequences.

“I aim to showcase my exceptional expertise, affirming my position as the premier expert, and explaining why others view me as a threat.

I challenge you to a contest, providing an opportunity to comprehend why you don’t feature in my top 10 Dancehall artistes.”

Shatta Wale is expected to drop a 14-track album on September 20, 2024 which features the likes of Wendy Shay, Amerado, among others.
