Mr Ransford Antwi, an Independent Parliamentary Candidate in the Sunyani East Constituency in the Election 2024 has pledged to face-lift and make the Sunyani main garage a business hub.

He acknowledged and appreciated the enormous contributions of mechanics towards economic growth and development.

Interacting with the leadership of the Sunyani branch of the Garages Association in Sunyani, Mr Antwi expressed worry about the poor state of the garage despite its contribution to revenue mobilization efforts of the Municipal Assembly.

He called on the mechanics and the artisanal workers at the garage to support and vote for him when they go to polls on December 7, to enable him to change the face of the garage and make it a “modern community”.

“Our under-development must be the concern of all of us and that is why I am pleading so that you support me to win the constituency seat,” Mr Antwi stated.

Mr Atta Akoto Senior, the Campaign Manager of the Candidate, said Mr Antwi had built himself well, saying with his “connections and social capital” home and abroad, he could bring the development of the constituency to the next level.

He therefore advised the electorate to vote for him.

Mr Peter Aboagye Antwi, the Chairman of the Association expressed concern about the deplorable condition of access roads at the garage, saying that was obstructing their economic activities.
