Kwame Owusu Danso, running mate of Movement for Change to tour Oti Region

Mr Kwame Owusu Danso, the running mate of Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the Founder and leader of the Movement for Change, is set to tour the Oti Region from Friday September 27, ahead of the December polls.

This strategic move aims to energise supporters and sympathisers of the Movement for Change in the region.

During the tour, the running mate would interact with traditional leaders, stakeholders and constituents to understand their concerns and needs.

Mr Danso would share the Movement for Change’s plans for the Oti Region, focusing on development, economic growth and good governance.

Madam Mavis Denteh Osei, the Krachi East constituency coordinator of Movement for Change, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that, as the party geared up for the December polls, Mr Danso’s visit to the Oti Region was a crucial step in rallying support and momentum for the party.

Mr Danso, a well-respected and influential figure in Ghanaian politics is expected to bring extensive experience and diverse expertise to the ticket of Movement for Change.

His nomination as a running mate was announced shortly after Mr Kyerematen submitted his nomination forms to the Electoral Commission (EC) on September 11, 2024.
