Hearts of Oak Seeks New Head Coach Following David Ocloo’s Departure

With David Ocloo’s departure, Hearts of Oak is actively considering options for a new head coach to lead the team into the 2023-24 season. Laryea Kingston, who has proven coaching experience, has emerged as a potential candidate for the position. The club is in discussions with the assistant coach of the Ghana U-17 team to take over the reins for the upcoming campaign.

Laryea Kingston’s Potential Return to His Former Club as Head Coach

Kingston has a strong connection with Hearts of Oak, having played two seasons with the team during his illustrious career. He first represented the club from 2001 to 2003 and returned towards the end of his playing days during the 2012-2013 league season. Now, the former Ghana international may make a significant return to the club, this time as their head coach.

Kingston’s Impressive Coaching Journey and Black Starlets’ Success

Earlier this year, Laryea Kingston was appointed to replace Paa Kwesi Fabin’s backroom staff as the Black Starlets’ assistant coach. His coaching journey reflects his dedication and passion for nurturing young talent.

As Hearts of Oak prepares for the new season, the potential addition of Laryea Kingston as head coach adds an exciting dimension to their coaching setup. Kingston’s experience as a former player and his successful coaching journey with the Black Starlets make him a strong candidate to lead the club to success in the upcoming Ghana Premier League.
