LeBron James says the NBA not ‘sad’ to lose Donald Trump’s viewership

Speaking in an interview on Fox & Friends on Wednesday, Trump voiced his disapproval at players kneeling to protest against systemic racism and police brutality, adding “what I do is personally turn off the game”.Sponsored link

James was asked for a response to Trump’s comments following the Los Angeles Lakers’ 105-86 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night at HP Fieldhouse.

“You trying to make me laugh right now?” James said. “I really don’t think the basketball community are sad about losing his viewership, him viewing the game. And that’s all I got to say.

“I think our game is in a beautiful position and we have fans all over the world,” James added. “Our fans not only love the way we play the game, we try to give it back to them with our commitment to the game.Sponsored Links
