Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has revealed the government’s decision to abolish road tolls.

He revealed money is needed for the fixing of deplorable road in the country but the establishment of the toll booths has led to congestion of at various toll points.

The scrapping of road tolls starts today as issued by the Minister of Finance Ken Ofori-Atta. The government has ordered personnel from Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) to be at all toll booth across the country to provide security for the smooth enforcement of the directive.
