Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, popular Ghanaian prophet has reacted to the introduction of 1.75% levy on Momo and e-transactions in the 2022 Budget Report, presented in parliament on Wednesday November 17, 2021.

Clearly overwhelmed by the information which was broken to him by his junior pastors in a video circulating on social media, the pastor affectionately called Prophet 1, lamented on why government won’t make life easy for citizens a little

Though the interpretation by the junior pastors did not quite state the matter accurately, Opambuor was so dismayed as he is seen complaining in the video which has gone viral

“So government won’t make life a little easier for us … Get out of my sight and go and pray,” he yelled at the junior pastors in Twi

The rhetoric going around by concerned citizens reveal that a section of Ghanaians are not amused particularly by the 1.75 % levy on mobile money.
