Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo files nomination to contest Council of State elections in Ashanti

Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo, the Chief of Nzema in the Kwadaso Municipality, has filed his nomination to contest the Council of State elections as the Ashanti Regional representative.

 
The traditional leader personally delivered his forms at the regional office of the Electoral Commission (EC) in Kumasi to participate in the elections scheduled to take place on Tuesday February 11, 2025. 


Accompanying Nana Nkansah Boadu were prominent dignitaries, including Bafour Kantankrankyi, the linguist of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II; Mrs Mavis Nkansah Boadu, Member of Parliament for Afigya Sekyere East Constituency; and other influential traditional leaders. 


Bafour Kantankrankyi, speaking to journalists, said the chiefs support Nana Nkansah Boadu because he was the ideal candidate to represent Asanteman at the Council of State.

 
“Nana Nkansah Boadu is a man with a good heart and vast experience.”

 
 His wisdom, leadership qualities, and commitment to development, make him the ideal representative for Asanteman.

  
We believe he is the right person to counsel the President and advocate for the development of the region and the nation,” Bafour Kantankrankyi said. 


He urged assembly members across the region to vote overwhelmingly for Nana Nkansah Boadu, emphasizing that his victory would bring significant benefits to the Ashanti Region. 


Nana Yaw Wiredu, the Assembly Member for Ahensan Estate and Presiding Member of Asokwa Municipal Assembly, called on his fellow assembly members to rally behind Nana Nkansah Boadu to ensure the Ashanti Region had a strong voice at the Council of State.

 
“We need a representative who understands the needs of the region and can articulate them effectively.

Nana Nkansah Boadu has proven himself as a visionary leader and a strong advocate for development.

I encourage my fellow assembly members to vote massively for him,” he stated.

 
The Electoral Commission has scheduled the Council of State elections for Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

 
The specific venues for the elections will be announced in due course.

 
With growing support from traditional leaders, political figures, and assembly members, Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo is widely regarded as a strong contender. 


His supporters are confident that his leadership skills, dedication to development, and extensive experience will resonate with voters and secure his victory.
