Mr Nelson Kofi Djabab, the parliamentary candidate of National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Krachi East constituency, has promised to work hard and garner more than 5,000 votes difference for the party in the December polls.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after submission of his nomination forms to Electoral Commission (EC), he expressed his determination to work hard to achieve a strong victory for the NDC in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.

Mr Djabab said he hoped to change the narrative of Krachi East constituency in the next four years, during his first term in office.

He believed his achievements as parliamentary candidate were unprecedented, citing interventions in education, health, drilling mechanized boreholes, repairing old boreholes, provided free mathematical sets for BECE candidates, organised free extra classes for BECE candidates, paying school fees for tertiary students, and many across the constituency.

The parliamentary candidate had urged Ghanaians, particularly the youth to vote for the party’s flagbearer Mr John Dramani Mahama as the country’s president in the 2024 general elections.

He said Mr Mahama possessed the best leadership qualities and the right experience that made him the ideal candidate for the country.

He explained that Mr Mahama under his first term in office as president demonstrated remarkable commitment towards the progress and development of Ghana.
