The NDC Youth Organiser of the Agona West Constituency, Frank Freebody Mensah, has urged the youth to embrace John Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy and vote massively for him to turn Ghana’s fortune around.

He explained that the 24-hour economy will provide decent jobs being sought for by the youth to reduce the unemployment menace and stem their economic challenges.

Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr Mensah said the NDC flagbearer commensurate with the teeming unemployment youth and will do everything within his reach to create decent and sustainable employment for them.

“The NDC recognises the sufferings of the youth, and has prepared policies tailored to address their plights, more reason why the flag bearer Mr John Dramani Mahama has proposed the initiative.

“Imagine a company running 24 hours non-stop.

It means that eight hours working per shift will triple the number of workers, but thereby employing more people.

And this will give opportunity to the unemployed to the extent that they can venture into two jobs,” he emphasised.

He stated that the flag bearer had also promised to give maximum attention to youth development.

He added that it was clear that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) peddled falsehood against the persona of Mr Mahama in the build-up to the 2016 elections, and that it was necessary for the youth to vote him back on December 7, 2024.

He said the flag bearer’s commitment was an exhibition of the establishment of the youth wing secretariat where the National Youth Organiser of the party, Mr. George Opare Addo, directly addressed issues pertaining to the youth.

He urged Agona West constituents to vote for the NDC Parliamentary Candidate, Mrs. Ernestina Ofori Dangbey because was the best candidate to address the developmental challenges of the constituency.
