Ohemaa Mercy: Gossip doesn’t affect me

A celebrated Ghanaian gospel sensation, Ohemaa Mercy, says, she is no stranger to the rumors and gossip that often surround public figures the entertainment industry.

According to Ohemaa Mercy, gossips does not move her.

Ohemaa Mercy has long been admired for her powerful ministry through music, touching the hearts of countless fans with her soulful and uplifting songs.

In a recent interview on GTV’s ‘Spectacle’ with host, Hagar Owusu, the singer made it clear that such speculation does not affect her in anyway.

This statement comes in response to a rumor that surfaced after she allegedly “shunned” a fellow artist at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Reflecting on the backlash and judgment from fans and viewers, Ohemaa Mercy acknowledged that these instances sometimes make her question her being in public eye.

Nevertheless, she has come to accept that gossip and spreading false narratives are simply part of the industry.

Over the years, Ohemaa Mercy has grown to understand that such challenges are inevitable. She firmly stated that “she knows who she is and the grounds she stands” that is, being confident in her principles.

Having faced numerous storms on her journey from Koforidua to the top, she says she has become resilient, and mere gossip is the least of her concerns now.

To the singer, giving up is not an option considering the obstacles she has overcome.

She remains unwavering in her mission.

Ohemaa Mercy remains steadfast, embracing the challenges that come with her role in the public eye.

As she moves forward, she believes her journey serves as a testament to her strength and dedication, undeterred by the noise around.
