Oti Region: NDC regional chairman begins community engagements

Mr John Kwadwo Gyapong, the Oti Regional chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has commenced community engagementS to seek votes for the party in the December polls. 
 
In the Krachi East constituency, the regional chairman engaged chiefs, stakeholders and emphasised the importance of the engagement and relentless effort in the quest for electoral success. 
 
With the elections on the horizon, the Chairman used the opportunity to communicate to both traditional leaders and undecided voters for the Flagbearer, Mr Dramani Mahama and the parliamentary candidate, Mr Nelson Kofi Djabab for Krachi East. 
 
Encouraging the chiefs and their subjects to transcend challenges and remain unwavering in their dedication to the NDC party, he underscored the attainability of victory if supporters maintained resolute, determined and focused. 
 
Interacting with the market women at Dambai market, Mr Gyapong said they needed to vote the NDC back into office to implement the 24- hour economy policy. 
 
“They policy will breathe fresh life into the ailing Ghanaian economy, this is where the market women stand the chance of benefiting as they will have more time to trade at their own convenience,” he told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after engaging the traders. 
 
Daasebre Bonja Atamafowiese II, Paramount chief of Chonke, welcomed the regional chairman and his team into the palace. 
 
He commended him and the party for recognising traditional authorities as partners of development and assured them of their prayers and support.
