Nana Akosua Duaa Asor Sika Brayie II, the Paramount Queen Mother of the Sunyani Traditional Area, recently paid a visit to the Sunyani Coronation Park to assess the progress of ongoing renovation efforts. Accompanied by sub-queens and members of the Sunyani Traditional Council, the Queen Mother was guided through the facility by Mr. Foster Kwame Opoku Boakye, the Acting Bono Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA).

During the inspection, various areas were examined, including the playing pitch and the new dressing room currently under construction. The dressing room is being designed to include facilities such as a match commissioners’ room, referees’ room, medical team’s and security rooms, and dressing rooms for teams.

Mr. Boakye explained the ongoing activities at the facility, stating that an estimated amount of GH₵60,000.00 was required for the installation of green grass, sprinklers, and other field works to enhance the quality of the football pitch.

Nana Brayie II expressed her assurance that the traditional council would provide support to ensure the completion of the project within the scheduled timeframe.
