Piesie Esther Makes a Heavenly Impact at ‘Waye Meyie’ London Debut Concert

Ghanaian gospel musician, Piesie Esther, made a resounding impact during her “Waye Meyie” London debut concert, held at London’s Dominion Centre on July 29. The event, co-headlined by renowned gospel singers Nacee from Ghana, Eben from Nigeria, and Lusanda Beja from South Africa, was eagerly anticipated after Piesie Esther won the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) Gospel Artiste Of The Year 2023.

The concert proved to be a delightful and thrilling experience for attendees, with singalongs and uplifting performances. One concert-goer, Gideon Asare, expressed his gratitude to the event’s organizers for staging such an exceptional performance. He also encouraged more Ghanaian gospel musicians to host shows in London to meet the growing demand for such events.

Piesie Esther’s music is known for its heartfelt expression of her desire to strengthen people’s relationship with God. Her worship services have touched audiences around the world, including countries like the USA, Italy, Belgium, Canada, the Netherlands, and Germany.

With her debut album, “Apae Ama Me,” released in 2002, Piesie Esther gained widespread recognition. She followed it up with her album “Me Nte Ase” in 2008, earning nominations for Gospel Artiste of the Year and Gospel Song of the Year at the 2009 Ghana Music Awards. Her music continues to inspire and uplift listeners both in Ghana and beyond.
