Rich Technical Home Solutions, a general construction company based in Kasoa, Central Region, recently held its seventh graduation ceremony. The company urged the seven graduates to apply the knowledge and skills they acquired during the three-year training in general construction works and apprenticeship programs to improve their livelihoods.

The training, which covered metal works, cement and sand usage, electrical and plumbing, vocational and career development in construction, was provided free of charge. Some of the graduates came from communities outside the Awutu-Senya East Municipality.

During the ceremony, each graduate received a certificate, a testimonial, and tools from the company’s management. Mr. Humphrey Acquah, the General Manager, commended the technical director and his team for their dedication in training the youth to become self-reliant. He stressed the importance of taking advantage of the opportunity to be self-employed rather than seeking jobs in urban centers with limited prospects.

Mr. Acquah encouraged the graduates to excel in their field, making themselves marketable, and attracting more customers for their services and handiwork.

The Technical Director of the company, Mr. Uman Mensah, highlighted that Rich Technical Home Solutions had been in existence for over 15 years and had trained and graduated more than 40 apprentices in general construction skills free of charge.

He called on parents to consider enrolling their children who were unable to complete their formal education into vocational training programs.

The graduates expressed their gratitude to the company for the opportunity and promised to make good use of their training, relying on the mercy of God.

The graduation ceremony serves as a testament to the company’s commitment to empowering the youth through skills training and fostering self-employment opportunities in the construction industry.
