Salam Mustapha, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) national youth organiser, has urged young party members to compete for elected positions when they become available.
He emphasised that, regardless of how long a person has been a member, the party maintains a strong competitive spirit.
On his trip of the Western North Area, Mustapha exhorted all young people in the nation to join the party and show off their talents in an interview with Liberty FM.
Mustapha underscored the NPP’s focus on young people, citing General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong and a number of appointees as rising young leaders.
Also suggested were Pius Enam Hadzide, Mustapha Ussif, Francis Asenso-Boakye, and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
Mustapha has been on a series of regional tours since his election, with the Western North Region being his 15th stop.
