Some Form 3 senior high school (SHS) students are stranded as the Ghana Education Service (GES) has considered a proposal from the Conference of Heads Assisted Senior High Schools (CHASS) to postpone re-opening.

The final year students were supposed to report to school on Tuesday, April 6 after the Easter break.

“It is true that [the current Form 3s] were to have reported yesterday[Tuesday, April 6, 2021] but as a result of the challenges that we anticipated and drew the attention of the management of the GES, they have come to agree with us and have now set a new date for the reopening of Form 3s,” the National President of CHASS, Alhaji Yakubu Abubakar, told TV3‘s Ibrahim Abubakar in an interview on Tuesday, April 6.

The GES has agreed to Wednesday, May 5 as the new date for reopening for all tracks of Form 3 students.
