President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has recognized that there is a pervasive sense of economic worry among Ghanaians right now.

“The Ghanaian people are concerned about the economy, the cost of living, income levels, job opportunities for young people, and even matters on which we all thought we had reached a national consensus,” he said during his State of the Nation Address in Parliament on Wednesday, March 30.

But he claimed that his government is doing a lot to get the economy back to where it was before Covid-19 arrived.

He claims that the viral sickness is to blame for the majority of the world’s problems.
