The Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assembly in the Western Region has commissioned the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) at Nyanso, to address road network challenges within the municipality.

In a brief address, Mr Benjamin Kessie, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) said through the DRIP, the Assembly had gotten a grader, roller compactor, back hole, water tanker, tipper trucks and concrete mixers.

“The DRIP is strictly for road construction.

If you have a mining site, please look elsewhere for machines to rent for your work.

Any staff who uses the DRIP equipment for illegal mining activities will be sacked immediately,” Mr Kessie warned.
